Welcome to The Irish School of Picture Framing

The Irish School of Picture Framing is located at Sisslings Mouldings in Stillorgan Industrial park and is offering an entry level one day workshop in picture framing. Class size is limited to a maximum of six.

Make money and do it for your family and friends. It is likely that you will be somebody involved in art or photography. Perhaps you are even interested in setting up a small home framing business, either as a hobby or professionally.

What do I need to bring with me?

Bring to class a picture or photo (no larger than A4 paper size or about 11" X 8" ) so that you can produce your own, professionally finished, framed picture.

This workshop is aimed at complete beginners as well as those who may have tried to frame their own work. There is no need for any experience of using hand tools. We will teach you all you need to know to get going.

This is a one day Saturday course and runs from 10am - 5.00 pm. The workshop fee of €155 includes all the materials to make one frame; which is yours to bring home. A light lunch and a supply of tea and coffee is also included.

Sisslings also provides for the artist: canvases, canvas boards, water colour blocks and a wide range of oil, water colour and acrylic paints, brushes and pallette knives.
